I work with dbreplicator 2.2.4. when I create the publication that goes well but when I create the subscription I get an error message often: "Can not find the xml file at pecified path" and then I get the message: "socket write error ". I normally work with 2 job in network database MySQL-> MySQL I do not know what is my problem. help me please.

Configuration: Set file path for the 2 position:

SET JAVA_HOME = C: \ Java \ jdk1.6.0
SET JDBC_CLASSPATH = C: \ dbreplicator \ java \ mysql-connector-java-5.1.5-bin.jar; DBReplicator.jar; log4j.jar

I’m surfing through the documentation published at the website in order to get more detailed information about how the system works. Basically, I’m interested to know the procedures used by the system to move the information from publisher to subscriber and vice versa. I’m not sure if the system is optimized to work in WAN environments with high latencies and small bandwidth in the communication link. Taking into account that ODBC/JDBC or event native connectors could be optimized to work under those circumstances.

You have an API reference document, but it is still under construction. Do you have any plans to finish it?

I am not an expert in license issues so here is one related question. DBReplicator is under GPL license and if I understand it right, it is not possible to use DBReplicator through API in commercial applications. If I want to use DBReplicator in my commercial application, the DBReplicator should be under LGPL license. Is it true?

I have a question about the performance of the DBReplicator on an environment with 140 subscriber servers.
I've read a topic saying that the DBReplicator handles the subscribers connections one at a time, causing problems with a large number of subscribers trying to connect to syncronize at the same time.
This is true? I'm analyzing the possibility to use DBReplicator on a system with 140 branches that have to synchronize some tables with a master database.
Someone knows if this is possible or if I will have problems doing this?

Don't take me wrong, I'm not saying it was a bad idea - but I would like to know what was the reasons that pushed you into making a fork of Daffodil DB Replicator?
